Below you will find activities that will inspire your inner scientist! Every week, we share three activities that fall into three categories: Marvelous, Wacky, and Fun! Each of our activities is geared towards students in grades k-2 with extra material for students in grades 3-5!

Have you ever wondered how art and science go hand in hand? This Marvel Monday, we will explore acids, bases, and chemical reactions not only as a scientist, but as an artist too! Join us as we learn how to create a fantastically fizzy art piece with baking soda and vinegar! Grab your art supplies AND your lab coats, because we're cooking up something marvelously creative at Team Steam!
WACKY WEDNESDAY
TORNADO IN A JAR
Tornadoes can be a scary force of nature, but they can be pretty wacky sometimes, too! Did you know that most tornadoes only form for just a few minutes? This week's Wacky activity delves into what makes tornadoes super cool and wacky and lets you make your own mini tornado in a jar! With just a few household materials, you can make your own wacky- and safe!- tornado!
